The wedding is done, the thank-you notes can wait, and we're officially off on our first adventure as newlyweds. We picked this trip because it gives us a little bit of everything - a couple of places to explore, time together at sea, and absolutely no seating charts to worry about. Mostly, we're excited to finally slow down and enjoy being married.
Q&A
We wanted something fun and relaxed, but the Italian personality of the ship made this one stand out. Wandering through Piazza Duomo and finding a good spot for cocktails sounded a little more interesting than spending the whole trip sitting by the pool.
A Little Italy, A Lot of Pacific
We wanted the honeymoon to feel different from everyday life without turning it into another complicated itinerary. Between Carnival Firenze's Florence-inspired spaces, Pacific views, and stops along the Baja coast, this feels like the right mix of exploring and doing absolutely nothing. We're hoping for a few great photos, a few late dinners, and at least one afternoon when neither of us knows what time it is.
